Directives of the Knighthood
To preserve the integrity and virtue of The Knights of the Silver Hand, some directives are required.
The simple purpose of these directives is to ensure that the guild will not fall to the corruption that
seized Prince Arthas and led to the demise of the original Order.
- Members at all ranks in the Silver Hand are expected to conduct themselves with honor and virtue.
Deviance from this directive may result in demotion and/or expulsion from the guild. Reports of poor
conduct must be taken seriously, and false reports (i.e., witch-hunts) will be dealt with harshly.
- Punctuality is a virtue (and a requirement). Logon in advance of any scheduled runs
giving yourself enough time to get your reagents, food/water, buff food and various pots.
- Know the Group and Loot Rules. It is your responsibility
to be familiar with the group and looting rules that are in place for everyone's benefit.
- We only recruit mature, reasonable players. When occasionally someone wanders in that
doesn't fit, it becomes obvious and they leave. Simple.
- The Silver Hand members and leadership will not engage in guild activities that profit their characters.
In order to prevent the corruption of the Guild from the way of the Light, members and leaders are prohibited
from engaging in guild activity for personal character profit. While it may be necessary to raise money for
certain guild related articles (such as the original Tabard and Crest fund drive), 100% of funds raised
must be used for the stated and sanctioned purpose. In case of excesses in fundraising
activities any excess will be refunded to the guild bank.
The Duke is the only member authorized to implement fundraising activities.
- Post your questions and comments about the mission, purpose,
core values, etc.
